2024 UBS Global Family Office Report unveils insights from 320 influential family offices. River Delta CEO was invited to share her view in UBS AIC. The founding family of River Delta has operated businesses in Southern China since the 1980s. River Delta, a family office based in Hong Kong, was established in 2016 to manage offshore financial assets separately from the onshore business. River Delta is licensed by the SFC for type 4 and 9 regulated activities.

River Delta has full discretion on investment decisions, guided by an investment mandate pre-communicated with the family. The family office is highly institutionalized, operates as an asset management platform, and ensures its market competitiveness.

River Delta believes that over 90% of portfolio returns come from asset allocation. Following that principal, River Delta maintains a stable strategic asset allocation (SAA) unless the family's investment goals change significantly. The CEO’s sophisticated hedge fund background helps identify fund managers who out-perform market with low volatility, consistent returns, deliver alpha with low market correlation. As discipline allocators, River Delta diversifies strategies, asset classes, and markets, maintaining a 50-50 global allocation between the US/Europe and Asia/China. This year, River Delta has aimed to lower beta by diversifying strategies.
